Silent Gliss was founded on an idea for a track that doesn't wake up the house as it opens and closes.

 

In the past tracks had metal on metal so the noise can be brutal to listen to in the morning. Imagine being a doctor having to wake up 3:00-4:00Am opening the shades only to disturb your neighbors, wake up your spouse and disturbing the peace.

A nylon glider on an aluminum track was then introduced to the market from Switzerland to Italy to the UK and now in the USA.

Going back to the routes and inspired by the interesting new international arena, Silent Gliss Inc is happy to say we went back to the beginning we now only offer manual Curtain tracks and Sliding Panels.

 

With motor warranties and failures in integration even when the hardware is working fine we've discovered that Manual avoids the headache, works in blackouts, and is technology resistant.
